Technology Reflection - Kauri

Today we went to technology. It was very fun we didnt do cooking this time because Mrs Tuipulotu had a funeral to go to. But we had another teacher teaching us. Her name is Mrs Heka she was very cool she was talking to us about cooking and work. We had a worksheet to complete which was fun, what we had to complete was about cooking then we got to do a word find which was also challenging. But what I enjoyed about this was getting to know Mrs Heka and also her telling us about what her students do in the cafe which we are working in right now. We did a lot of work about cooking knowing all the equipment and how people use the equipment. The most challenging thing was probably the word find. Because it gets you confused sometimes but at the end we finished it.

I liked doing this task because it was really fun and I enjoyed it. I cant wait until next week because we are doing cooking. Thanks :D

Te Tuhi Reflection - T4W4

T4W4 Workshop Two - Turangawaewae
Today we went to te tuhi. It was a really cool experience it help me learn heaps and to do art without talking about but using art but telling stories. It was really fun in this presentation I am talking about what I did and how I did it. I also am talking about the equipment I used to do this art. It was really challenging because I am not that good at art but I am getting used to it each time I do te tuhi.
Next Week we will be going back to Te tuhi for our final Te tuhi I hope it is gonna be cool like last time but I delt that it will be bad. Big thanks to Solome for helping us do the art and also teaching my other pairs on how you can tell stories by doing art. Salome is a really good teacher at teaching art. But I cant wait until next week to do more art and to bring more special art home to show my family what I have done.
Here is a picture of my art-

Art and Turangawaewae - Kauri

WAL: How artists from Aotearoa make art that connects to their turangawaewae!
This task was a Te Tuhi Prep.
It was very cool and fun because it taught me a lot about the different artist who can express them selves and also other people including their family, friends and also their ancestors.

This task wasn't that challenging because the answer we had to write for each person were already in the description. But 1 thing I liked was knowing what these people do for a living, how they can make there art stand out to a lot of people.
1 thing I need to work on his gathering more information to put into my work so it can help me move up levels and also using better vocabulary while writing. But besides that this was very cool because now I know what these people do and how this can help other people in the future.

Turangawaewae (A place to stand) - Kauri

Te Tuhi Pre-Visit Lesson 1
Exploring Turangawaewae
Art and turangawaewae
Symbols representing our turangawaewae

We were learning about turangawaewae and what this means. It  means where you come from.
It can helps us learn multiple things like learning about ourselves and other people. Where your grandparents and parents have come from and where they were raised. I love this task because it was very cool and helpful, now I know about turangawaewae and what It means and how I can learn about the different things. If we do, do another task similar to this it will help me gain more knowledge so I can show other people what It means so they can also pass the knowledge down to the younger generation.
Also in this task it makes us fill in the gaps with the correct word so it keeps our mind running and helps us work even harder. And it has some questions about yourself and what place keeps you happy and where your were born.
- Thanks :D

Technology Reflection - Kauri - T4W2

Yesterday we had technology. It was very cool when we arrived we got into our groups. I am in cooking so Ms Tuipulotu told us what we are going to cook. We were cooking rock cake. It was pretty hard because some groups did not follow the recipe and ended up with gooey mixer instead of hard and kinda gooey. So Ms Tuipulotu fixed it and put more flour so it wasnt to gooy but more thick them watery. When we finished making the mixture we put the mixture on a tin then put the oven on 180 and cooked it slowly.

When it finished we took it out and put it on the cooling racket. Then Akanesi came around with the phone and took photos of the rock cake and how it turned out. Me and my pairs which is Michael rock cake turned out a bit burnt but was very fantastic. After that we put chocolate sauce and whipped cream then enjoyed our meal. Unfrountanley I didnt get sent the photos but will forsure being getting sent the photos next week when we make something nice. :D - Thanks

Indigenous Game - Kauri

This was a game that Ms Kyla taught us about. It was a hand game. You had to stand opposite to your partner and play each other. There is the actions and instruction in this google drawing. This game was very challenging and hard because me and my pair didn't understand it. But then we were slowly getting used to it. I had a better understanding of the game and it was slowly staring to be better. What I like about this game is that it works on your reflek because once your opponent does a move you have to try and do another move. And what I need to work on is trying to be a little bit faster when I am playing because my pair gets me our straight away. But it was a fun experience and I cant wait until we get taught another game just as fun as this one.
-Thanks

About John Pule - Kauri

Today we had a task to complete. It is about John Pule who is a famous artist and it very good at drawing. He is a very good artist he also raises money for foundation to help them out. In my drawing I am talking about him and giving information on what he does and about himself. There are a few images that are his drawing which look very fantastic and amazing. He uses a lot of detail and colours to make his drawing stand out and look even more better. He was also born in 1962 april and he must of got into doing art from his parents or it must be in their blood.

I hope to do more of this task because it is really fun and exciting to learn about how these people go into this hobby and why they love doing it a lot.

Zones of Regulation - Kauri T4W2

Today we had a task to complete which is about Zones of Regulation. This is talking about your emotions and how you can help yourself to get to the green emotion. It talks about the different colours and what emotion it is. Blue is bored, tired and sad and a few more. Green is happy and ready to go and a few more. Yellow is Excited, Frustrated, Nervous, Anxious and more. And the last but not least is Red. This is mad and out of control. I like this task because it was fun and very cool. Cant wait to do more of this because it was so fun and awesome. I have learnt about a lot of things and how you can help other people to express their emotions.

Cure Kids - Kaure

Today Room 10 participated in a Kelly Sports event to support Cure Kids.
Cure kids is a company who raises money for the kids who are being diagnosed with diseases such as, cancer, asthma and other things that are very bad diseases.
That means by us donating and giving a coin donation for people that are wearing muffety which has to be red, we had to give a coin donation to help out the kids that are struggling.
An example of ways they support children's health is the money people donate doesn't go to the kids it goes to the scientist and other people who figure out what they can do to come up with a medicine to cure the disease.
The effect of their work/research is that it is helping kids to get better and making more kids survive so their families don't have to go through a hard time when they pass away. It also is saving families a lot of money because they don't need to keep spending money on medicine.
Today I participated in a event that Coach Alan and his team set up for the day. It was a few games that were very fun. An example of the game we played was ball tiggy. It was boys vs girls and the girls had to start first, they had to get a ball without throwing it at a opponent they had to try and pass the ball around to their teammates and try and get us. The other game we played was Noodle Hockey.
This game was very fun and exciting we got split into 2 groups and we had to stand on a colour mat and when coach Alan calls out a color the person on that colour has to run. They had to go and grab a noodle and start hitting the ball towards their goal.
And the final game we played was called Capture the flag. Just like I said we got split into the same teams then we had to line up. There was 4 hula hoops on each of the sides with cones in them. There was 2 defenders in both teams who stand in the cone and had to try and wack the person who was trying to steal the cone. They weren't allowed to hit them high they could only hit the legs. Then if you grab a cone you had to run back to your base, and if you get hit you gotta run back to your base and restart. By supporting Cure Kids, I hope my impact is helped you and maybe you can support them so they can live a life just like you. If you would like to find out more information or find out to donate click this link- CureKids - Thanks

Term 4 Goals - Kauri

Nau mai, hoki mai ki taku rangitaki.
Ko tenei te wahanga tuawha o te tau! Kei te pehe to hararei?

One thing I am really looking forward to this term is Rugby. Rugby on Wednesday the 18th of October. We will be versing other schools and I am very looking forward to watching my friends and pairs play against other school and watching them participate and also just having a good time when they are out there on the field. I am also looking forward to the waiwera pools but if people want to go they have to pay their technology fees which cost $50 then they will get to come to all of the fun trips that the year 7 n 8's will be going to this term.

And my personal goal for next year to try and reach national standards so it will be much easier for me to accomplish my goals when I move on to college next year. And to set good goals for my self and to try and reach it. Also working hard having a positive mindset.

To fully enjoy these end of year opportunities, I will need to remember to have a growth mindset, work hard to never let anyone distract you when you are moving for or up a level because they might make you go back down and not accomplish your goals which you were going for. I will need to be more respectful and to teachers and to my pairs. Participate and Contribute in more activities.

Climate Change

WALT: compare and contrast prospecvtive policies to form personal opions.
This task was about the parties and who you would vote for. This task was very fun it was challenging but was good to know about what parties are good and which are not. In my opinion I voted for Labour., you will see in my work why I have voted for labour. And the reason why I have picked labour is because they have good ideas and are gonna help new zealand be good and better again.
In this you can read about the different subjects and what the parties have to say on them. The one subject I liked was health. Because National and Labour are putting money to help the mental and to build it bigger and better.

Skill - Kauri

This is a short presentation about my skills I need to improve. What I have picked is tackling. This is a contact sport such as Rugby or Rugby league. A lot of people in my school loves these sports because it is very fun and physical. The reason why I love this sport is because my brother has got me into it and since then I have loved it. How I need to improve my skills on tackling is by practicing everyday, keep trying when it gets hard and to not give up.

Motat Trip - Kauri

Today I have finished a reflection about motat. In this reflection I was talking about what happened and how the things in the motat can help you in the future for you to get a job. I talked about a recount and all the things that happened. It also talks about a lot of things the key learning I got out of the motat trip was. Learning about the old things and also the gaming jobs that can get you far in life if you do your job right.  There is some photos of what we did at motat and what it looked like for us, You can see all of the old things that me and my buddy were looking at which we had to read about and also discover more about it and what it does. What I found challenging was the game making room you had to create your own game. It was very hard but fun because you are making your own game which was very cool and I enjoyed just like my other pairs. What was the best part of the day at motat was going on the tram.
Why I liked the tram? Is because it was fun you could see all the public people going to the zoo it also was a very fun trip because we were singing and having a great time. The tram driver was very nice he stopped the tram and asked Ms aireen if we wanted a photo in front of the tram. Then we headed back and had out lunch and waited for the other class to get back to were we stayed.

Technology Reflection - Potato Salad with Sausage's.

IALT: Cook a potato salad with sausages.
Today I was cooking with my buddy which is Falakiko. It was very cool and fun it took a very long time but was very nice and came out very good.
The ingredients we used for this cooking was, Sausages, Carrots, Mayonnaise, Egg, Ham and Red onions. These are the steps of how to cook this. Step 1 - Peel the Potato, Slice and cook until soft and then boil together with the egg.
Step 2 - Drain using the colander and put it into the big sliver bowl.
Step 3 - Dice the ham, red onion then once you have peeled the carrots start to grate them. Once the egg is boiled peel it then dice it. But make sure you run it under cold water in the colander. Then dice the eggs. Put everything together and mix it with Potato salad.
For the sausage. Step 1 - Fry it in the pan with some oil. And wait until the sausage goes brown and golden then you can take it out. The serve it up on your plate and it will be very nice and tasty. But also dont forget to add mayonaise to it.

Ko te Whakatauki o te wiki - T3W7 Kauri

WALT: make personal connections to a given whakatauki.
This was the whakatauki which is Tanagta ako i te whare, te turanga ki te marae, tau ana.
And the english verse for this is The person taught well at home will stand strong on the marae, and in society.
This was a very fun whakatauki it taught me a lot and what it meant. What I enjoyed was learning about this whakatauki and also gaining more knowledge about what the values mean to me and how I can show them at my house. I think it is good to learn about this because it will put your mindset in the right path and also make you have a good future when you grow older and are a adult.
1thing I struggled on is trying to come up with my own version of the whakatauki because I couldn't figure it out but I got there at the end which was good. These whakatauki are very fun because it will teach you a lot of things you don't know. This is why I like doing it and it is good also because I do learn my culture language because we need to identify what these words mean and what are the effects it has on us. I hope to do this again because it was fun and very challenging but that is good for us because we are learning more things every time we do this.

There recipe and steps I have done is this.
Ingredients
Oreos, Milk, Whip cream and Hersheys chocolate.

Step 1: Get the oreos.
Step 2: Get 2 cups of milk.
Step 3: Get the blender ready.
Step 4: Put the milk and oreos together in the blender.
Step 5: Blend it together and wait until there are no lumps of oreo.
Step 6: Put the milkshake in your cups with straws, then wait for the photo then enjoy.
This was a very cool group it taught me a lot and also how to collaborate with my peers while working with them. One thing I need to work on is to listen properly so I know what to do and also so my fellow peers can also understand. I cant wait until next Thursday cause we will be making coconut cookies which might taste very nice and also fun to because it will help us and we might be able to make it at home.  This is a similar photo to what we done because we forgot to take a photo. And also I need to be more organised so I can blog faster and also be on time.

Kauri Whakatauki o Te Wiki. - T3W6

'

WALT: make personal connections to a given whakatauki.
This is my Whakatauki about the task that is given to us.
It was very cool we were talking about the whakatauki given to us which is He aha te kai o te
He Korero, he Korero, he Korero.
This means - What is the food of the chief/leader. It is knowledge, It is communication.
This whakatauki was very cool and fun it taught me a lot about what I was doing I hope to do more of it because it was fun and very challenging.
It was also talking about a what this whakatauki means to me and how it can relate to me. It also said where would you hear someone use this whakatauki and I said... When they are at a game, and the captain needs the players to listen up to him so they know what is going on and how there moves and plays are going to work. For example Paul Gallen he needs his boys to work hard for him and he should always know he has his team to back him up.

DARE: Session 2 Reflection Task - T3W5 - Kauri

DARE: Session 2 Reflection.
This is another task about the same things which is drugs. We had to describe what drugs can do to you. Why do police focus time on manufacturers and distributors of drugs? A lot of people over use drugs and sometimes even drugs that help our body people over dose to kill themselves. This task taught me a lot and I think why the cops are trying to stop the distribution is because that if the drugs keep getting supplied then it wont stop and someone has to do something to get rid of it. And it wont get stopped if no-one was going to do anything. We also had to find definitions about the words that were given to us which was fun and also very challenging because I didn't get what they meant but this is what I supposed to do is to figure it out and I get to learn more about it when I am thinking also. Also what I have learnt is that to stay away from drugs because you might or will get addicted to them as soon as you start. And what I found challenging was finding out the definitions about the words but that was still fun. I hope to do more task including this because it was very fun and challenged my brain to work hard and find out what these words actually meaned.

DARE: Session 3 Reflection Task. T3W5 - Kauri

DARE: Session 3 Reflection Task. T3W5.
Is task was given to us to complete. It is about Drugs and why we should not use it.
This task is good because it helps us to think about our decision and why we should not take drugs. My reason is because it will effect your future. Drugs are really not good for you unless it is drugs you take to heal your body. But drugs that heal your body or make you feel better is Panadol and Morphine and other things. But if you misuse these things it can kill you. Which is very scary because these drugs are supposed to help you. This task was fun and cool to complete I have learnt a lot of this and how drugs can destroy or body. Also there is a lot of people who take drugs because they are depressed and also sad because there family left them so they take drugs because that's the only thing they can rely on. But if you are in this problem go talk to someone and seek help. But besides these hope to do more and expand my knowledge so other people can learn of this.

DARE: Session 1 Reflection Task - Kauri T3W5

This is a reflection that I have completed related to DARE which means Drug Abuse Resistance Education.
This task was really outstanding Constable Teina came into our class and was talking to us about drugs and how it can effect your future and what skills your good at. There was a lot of reasons and it is sad to hear how many people actually die of drugs because what they have taken. I love learni
ng about because it helps me but not just me my pairs to because it tells us and we learn to not go down the wrong path because it can lead you to what other people have done, which has effected there future and the other people around them also. I cant wait until we do more of this which will give me a good idea of how I can handle myself to not go down the wrong paths. :D

Kauri's Whakatauki O Te wiki

WALT: make personal connections to a give whakatauki.
This task was given to us today which we had to complete.
It was very fun and we had to talk about the whakatauki which is "he iti hoki te mokoroa nana i Kakati te Kahikatea".

In english this means The small grub may be small, but it cuts through the tree.
And what this means to me is that You may be small but you are still strong.
Work hard to get through obstacles. The reason why I like this whakatauki is because it explains and tells me a lot about how you can have a positive mindset. I wish to do more because it was very fun and challenging but also made me realize to not underestimate people or yourself because you don't know what they have been going through.

What I found challenging was talking about how it relates to your life because I didn't have enough information which was really hard to think of more ideas. Also be the bigger person when someone is underestimating you because you will make the problem worse.
And the one thing I loved about doing these task's is learning more things which extends my vocabulary and also helping me to learn about what words I don't understand and also to don't focus on what other people say cause it will put you down the wrong path but you want to stay on the positive and keep fighting to success. I also hope to do more of this because it helps my mindset and makes the world a better place if everyone is positive.

Maths Solving Equations - Kauri

Today in class we completed a maths equations and it was algebra. it was a very fun equation to do.
I liked figuring it out with my buddy and also talking about it. The way me and my buddy figured it out was by knowing how much mls they take every 3 hours and how much medicine does the daughter take every 6 hours. For the dad he takes 10ml every 3 hours and the daughter has 5ml every 6 hours. Then we just carried on just like 10 to get to 300 and added it all up and see how much days it would take him to finish a whole bottle of 300ml of medicine. And for the daughter we did the exact same thing and they both came out as 6 days. They both finished there medicine in saturday.
I hope to do more of this maths it is fun and also challenging because it works our brain and helps us out because we are gathering and learning more skills each time we work together.
This also was a stage for maths question which was very fun to solve.

Tom and Tia Maths Question - Kauri

Today We are learning to, Solve an algebra problem to calculate how much money would be spent earnt by 2 twins. Tom started with $20 and spent $2 per day. Tia started with $0 and earned $2.50 per day.
I used a table to help me calculate the day Tia will overlap Tom with the money. We made links to statistics and chose a line graph to show our thinking. You can see clearly, that by Friday, Tia had more money than Tom. This was a very fun activity to complete it also was a level 4. I hope to do more and to understand it more so I can get better and also my pairs.

Ko Te Whakatauki O Te Wiki - T3W3

WALT: make personal connections to a given whakatauki! This is a whakatauki I have finished and it is about a sentence given to us which is Ma pango ma whero Ka oti ai te mahi. In my task you can see what I have done and what quotes i have came up with myself. This task was very fun to do and also it takes time and effort to complete this task. I like doing this task because it is really fun and exciting because I learn about what it means and what quotes I can come up with. The quote in Maori everything all means something thats why it is cool trying to know and find out what it means in English. But beside's that this task was fun and I cant wait to be given another one some other time.

PB4L - Positive Behaviour For Learning. - Kauri and Michael!

WALT: create our PB4L - Positive Behaviour For Learning.
This is a drawing me and my friends have come up with for the rules when we are in a assembly.
It is very good to learn about the rules because it helps you to show a growth mindset and be a role model to the young kids while you are in the hall. I hope to learn and come up with more rules because it will help out people who cant control themselves in the hall. And also doing and completing one of these things will also help yourself out if you aren't very good in the assembly. These are rules me and my friend have come up with hope you enjoy them and learn off some of them.

Cook Island Week!

IALA: the Cook Island culture.

IALA: the similarities between my culture and the cook island culture.

This task was very fun to learn about the cook island culture and how similar they are to my culture. It was very fun I like learning about how they caught there food and how similar it is to my culture. The way they say there food and another are very similar to maori and some other cultures. For example pig- Poaka in Maori and Poaka in Cook Island also. I hope to learn about the Cook island more because it is a very interesting place and very lovely. Also there is around 21,000 to 15,000 people living in the cook island and most of them live in  Rarotonga.
This task was very fun and cant wait to hear about more intersting facts about the cook island culture. Thanks :D

Information Report - Kauri

This is a story I read. It is about the war when New Zealand troops went to Gallipoli and fought for our country. This book was very interesting and it taught me about a lot of things. For example 130,000 troops from NZ served for our country and it was 10 percent on New Zealand because NewZealand 1994 we only have 1 million people living in NZ. A lot of Women lost there husbands and children lost there dads. I hope to read more Journals like this because it is very cool and also sad because most of the people who fought for us were around 15 years old and a little bit older.

The maori people fought hard even the english leader said that the maori people are the best war fighters in the world. All I will like to say is thanks to the people who fought for us and we wouldn't be here without them.

Kumara Chips! T2W9

Our Mini Matariki Feast.
Yesterday we had a Mini Matariki Feast. It was a cool experience washing and cutting the Kumara chips. There is a few photos of us cutting the kumara and washing it. It was very fun and also when they were gold and ready we had to make a sauce. The sauce we made was sour cream and chilli sauce which was very nice. Fact is that a kumara is one of the healthiest vegetable ever.  There are also a few facts about the Kumara and when it grows and what time you can get them.

The outcome of the Kumara was outstanding it was in the right time in the oven and was so nice.
The Kumara chips were crispy and soft. It was really nice because the sauce helped the kumara chips out. I hope to do this again but something else because it was fun and delicious. 1 thing I struggled on was not knowing how much sauce and sour cream to put into this little cup. But it was very fun and cool thanks to our teacher Ms Kyla for organising it and also to Kelly for helping us bake them and knowing what temperature to put the kumara chips on.

T-shirt Design - Kauri

This is a t-shirt design I have created for the next time we go down to the event. 1 thing I need to work on is putting more effort and time into my work because it is not that good. But the thing I like with this app is you can put different designs and also put names and numbers whatever you like. I will also put a link to where you can design your own t-shirt.  Link click on the link I have submitted make your own t - shirt and also it says you can buy it but it might be for a lot of money. The number 72 is panmure where our school is that's the reason why I did it. I can wait to see other peoples designs and what they have on there t-shirts. - Thanks

Thank you letter - Kauri

This is a thank you letter to Tamati and his team at the Paddington reserve.
Rm10 and 9 had a very fun time it was also. I like to thank you for showing us the safety and also helping us and guiding us through out the steps. I hope to come back and plant more because it was fun. A lot of us cant wait till we get older cause we will see the trees growing and also make memories from it. I love getting together with other schools because it tells us that we are a team and also work hard for each other. Anyways this is just a thank you letter for all you have done using your own time to create this event so we can help out our enviroment to have a better community. Thanks - Kauri

Taku Rakau Whainga- Kauri

WALT: Write about our goals.
This is my Taku Rakau Whainga. It is very cool and also I have done a screencastify about my work.
This task was very fun to do because its tells you what put downs and put ups do you get and also what you want to be when your older. This task helps us right our dreams so they can come true but it also tells us we have to work hard for it and it doesn't just come to us.
I hope to do another task like this in the future but with more questions and interesting facts on how to accomplish your dream. It also shows us who will help us through out the journey and I have listed my Family and also the names of my friends.
Thanks. :{

Technology Designs - Kauri

This is a design of my drawings my favourite design is the shield, which I will be turning that into a clock. I am doing the shield for my brother because he loves rugby league and also is a very cool brother to me. Thanks to my friends Falakiko, Gary and Metui for helping out with my designs and also for showing the instructions and giving me a few designs to work on. I hope I will get done and also it is very cool and fun because we get to work on our drawing skills and also knowing your sizes and how big you want it or small you want it. The designs I did was Mickey mouse, Pikachu, Rugby ball, Shield, Bull and a Dog. Also we had to choose the silhouette designs. What I did good was cutting out my designs and also asking the teacher for the next instructions. What I need to work on is finishing my work faster so I can move onto the next task.
Thanks- Kauri

Fraction with lego learning. - Kauri

Today we got put into our maths group and had to figure out the question. The question was to build a table that shows one half of yellow bricks.  It was a really cool task and this is what we came up with. What went wrong was we made the half too big and the other side too small.  That's wrong because the halves were not even and in fractions the groups need to be even.  So we moved the legos around and then it worked but then we also needed one more lego so we went and grabbed it then we have completed it.
I hope to do more lego maths because it is very cool and also fun to learn about other things.

-Thanks, Kauri

Technology Reflection - Kauri T2W6

Hi today in Mrs. Ferguson class at technology we were designing clocks. It was very fun, 1 thing I liked when we went there was drawing 6 designs And we all had to draw it for someone we picked and who I picked is my brother. I liked drawing the design because it took time and also looks very cool. The designs I drawed was a rugby ball, bird, shield, pikachu, mickey mouse, dog...
And also inside of those drawings we also have to put a clock with the big hand and smalls hand also.
Also our drawings that we are creating has to be silhoutte so when we add in the clock hands so it doesn't show the face because it will block the clock hands.

1 thing I done best is finding images to draw and also working hard to complete and colour in the designs I have finished.
Also I need to work on is drawing my objects to high standard and also finishing my work a little bit faster so I won't be stuck on the other things when I am working.
Overall I like the class i'm in and also im am going to keep working hard to complete my clock and hopefully have it finished by the time we take it home. Here are some of the silhouette design I have done.

Venn Diagram - Kauri

Today I completed a venn diagram. It was very fun we were talking about modern food and how it relates or if it is common with the moriori food. There is not that much food in common the reason why is because moriori food is not processed back then and also it was always fresh and didn't go that much off because they always looked after it. They also are very kind cause they take what they need and also they do not be greedy.

Moriori and Modern days - Kauri

WALT: talk about the morioris. Morioris are people who lived in New Zealand in the 16th century.
We had to talk about would you be living in modern or moriori days. I have picked modern and the reason behind that is because it will be boring and also it will be not fun because the morioris always used to eat the same such as sea food and other things they could find. I also talked about the physical and processed food that we have in the modern days.

Te Tuhi Reflection - Kauri

Hi today, I and Rm10 bussed to Papakura. We went to look around Te tuhi. I have created a piece of art work that describes the climate and how it affects our world. Where we create our art was in the school art room. It was very cool but some people did get messy with the paint we were using. I hope to visit that place again and write a letter to 1 of my family members. I loved exploring the fabulous art work people have created. 1 thing that surprised and and shocked me was this table. It wasn't a ordinary table and it was so cool. You had to press a button and it would open with a cable charge you could use.
This is the piece of art work I created hope you like it.
And it is also about Water Pollution and how we need to stop it.
